DAMAC Launches the Final Tower of Chelsea Residences at Dubai Maritime City as Branded Homes Boom

Doment Newsroom

DAMAC Properties has put the last piece of its Chelsea Residences project on the market, launching the sixth and final tower of the waterfront development at Dubai Maritime City. The release comes after the first five towers sold out, and the developer is framing Tower C as the final chance to buy into what it calls the world's first football-branded residential community.

The project was built in partnership with Chelsea Football Club, and the branding runs through the building rather than sitting on top of it. Buyers get access to what DAMAC says is the only rooftop football pitch in the UAE, a beach club, an athlete training centre, and a stretch of blue-sand beach coloured to echo the club's kit. Every apartment in the final tower is sold with an open view of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.

What is on offer in the final tower

  • One, two and three-bedroom apartments, all with sea views
  • Prices starting at AED 2.56 million
  • Sizes from roughly 827 square feet
  • Located inside Dubai Maritime City, a 2.27 million square metre district sitting between Port Rashid and the heart of the city

"Chelsea Residences by DAMAC brings together an iconic global football brand, a prime waterfront setting and DAMAC's signature approach to luxury living," said Amira Sajwani, Managing Director at DAMAC Properties.

Why branded homes keep selling

The launch lands in the middle of a strong run for branded residences in Dubai. Transaction volumes in the segment rose about 26 percent in 2025 and the total value of those deals climbed roughly 51 percent, according to market research cited by the developer. The same data points to branded units carrying a price premium of as much as 64 percent over comparable homes without a name attached, which helps explain why developers keep signing up sports clubs, hotels and fashion houses to put their stamp on new towers.

For buyers weighing whether a football badge and a marina address are worth that premium, the sensible first move is to compare it against the wider market. You can line up the pricing, payment plans and handover dates of other Dubai off-plan projects before committing to a branded tower, and see how the sea-view premium at Dubai Maritime City stacks up against nearby waterfront communities.

Dubai Maritime City itself is part of a wider push to rebuild the peninsula as a mixed maritime, residential and leisure hub, backed by an infrastructure programme worth around AED 5.3 billion. With Tower C now released, the Chelsea Residences plot moves from a phased sell-down toward full construction, and attention will shift to how quickly the completed towers hand over and what they fetch on resale once residents move in.
